I love gatherings! Gatherings with my old friends~updating each other..sharing lots n lots with them..simply love them!

Met up with Zhen, Xuefen n Yunshuang to have dinner @ Marina Sq Waraku - a japanese restaurant. The food's quite expensive but its damn delicious! Love to go there again........when i have the $$!

We sat down at Citylink's TCC after the dinner till 11pm. Though the time with them was short..but i enjoyed alot! i love their companies n hope we can meet up soon! :)

NEXT:

Celebrated Wendy's birthday on the 20.6.2007. Had buffet dinner at Orchard Sakura, $26 per pax. That was my first time there..find the food so-so.

Love their salmon, fruit salad and minicakes..the rest didn't really attract me much..and somehow buffet is a waste for me becos everyone(not only this grp of friends) says i ate TOO LITTLE!

It was a simple gathering session, Angeline planned a surprise for her by lying that she didn't manage to get the present for wendy so we had to give her ang baos instead.

Victor will then stuff the present into wendy's bag secretly when she was away. Initially they expected her to open the present only when she reaches home..who knows within minutes she saw e present and was wondering which fellow dropped a present into her bag..so for the next 15-30mins, she make tons of calls to friends asking if they were the ones. Of cos..none did!

we continued to lie to her until she decided to open the ang bao and realised it was only a piece of white paper with the words "SGD $1000" n "You're fooled" at the back.

We got her a mini bday cake n sang bday song for her at the end of the dinner.

A 2nd surprise or rather trick - the candle that cannot be blown out. It took her bout 15mins to blow out the candle..it was damn tiring~people sitting near us kept laughing at her..haha

Timothy joined us only after the dinner..we had a short chat before heading for home..

Xuan's advanced bday celebration on 17.6.2007

Had 2 celebrations for her in a day..one's in the afternoon with the guys and the other's in the evening with Wah,me and our boysss...

Every year's the same..we planned a surprise for her (again). Every year reasons given were also the same..we lied that most of them were not available. And every year's the same..they'll turned out from somewhere to surprise her..

Yeah..every year's the same...

but definitely something's different this year...that is.........Xuan cried!

Hahaha...yea~we did it, chonglin piggy kor! We made her cry this year!!

From those tears, the guys shld be able to feel how much she or rather we treasured this friendship with them..no matter how busy we were, we still hope we can plan an outing with them. Xuan's bday celebrations happened to be one of the 'outings' =)

Was relieved that Xuan still gonna meet me for lunch cos i thought she wouldn't want to since the guys were "supposedly" not free to meet up. She was late (as usual :X)! And i had to coordinate with the guys at the same time in case we might bump into each other at the train station. Must really apologise to them for taking all the troubles to "hide" themselves.hehe..

Chongz suggested to have lunch at Marina Square so Leon,xuan,wah and me reached there first and decide on what to eat before the guys appear for the surpirse. After walking a few rounds, we decided on Sakae Lunch.

Xuan was really surprised when they came, her eyes went teary..and she finally cried. She really thought the guys weren't free this year as most of them are still serving the army. Chit chatted with them, took lots of pic but the pics are still with xuan so unable to upload those taken at sakae..

After that we took cab down to Mind Cafe..Yang and Darl came later. For the first half an hour, we were busy eating the brownies and ice cream, etc. before starting on our games. Onli managed to play 2 games that day. We were having too much fun that we nearly forgot about the cake and presents.haha..

We cut the cake around 10+pm and passed her the present. I ordered the cake from bakerzin. muz really thank my dear for taking the trouble to collect the cake for me =). The present we gave her was a cute little miniature figurine of her.

Spent lots of sleepless night figuring it out especially Junyang..i guessed he slept at 4+am almost every night trying to design the template for the miniature. He did a sample for his own collection before letting wah n me to do the real one ourselves. We went to yang's house on friday(15.6.2007) to start working on it. Really must 'bow' to Yang, doing this really needs alot of time and patience..u have to cut the bits n pieces carefully, and once you paste wrongly, it'll look damn funny~really stressful..so worried we'll spoil 'Yixuan'.lol..

The whole process was very fun esp when 'Yixuan' was half done. We kept making fun of it..hehe..Xuan so sorry... :X

Darl joined us after his work..He contributed a little to the miniature by helping to paste those little crystals on the box..other than that he was playing game with Yang's xbox. -.-!! Also becos there's nothing much he can help la..hur..

we finished the thing till 12am then had our dinner @ adam's road i think..after that yang drove us home..

Finally~time for updates!!

Had been rather busy for the past 2 weeks. Packed with quite a few activities..

One of them was our trip(Xuan n Leon.Wah n Yang.Me n darl, also not forgetting his little cousin, didi) to Animal Resort on the 9th June:

Initial plan was that darl will drive his dad's lorry to CWP n meet us for breakfast at Yakun. In the end we manage to borrow my brother's car and Yang also has a car..so we met at AMK Hub for "YA KUN"..ya..Yang claimed there's Ya Kun but there was only Toast..er..i forgot the name..haha..Toast Talk i think? LOL. Worse..there were no seats for us, we have to stand to eat. so we decided not to have that..we went for Pepper Lunch instead!

After which, we drove towards our desired destination - The Animal Resort! As it was our first time there, we made quite a few wrong turns before we reached. =\

The resort turns out to be rather small and of cos, smelly~ The moment we stepped in, the first animal we saw were the parrots! The silly Us kept saying 'hello' to them, i think there were too many 'hellos' so they got confused. lol. So for every 10 Hellos from us, we can onli get one reply from them..tiring! One of them even imitated our laughter~so cute!

The funniest animals were the 6 attention-seeker geese, they were soooooo noisy, they walked around the resort like nobody's business. We fed them with the food bought from the resort, all you have to do is to pour the food on ur palms and reach towards them, they'll start pecking on ur palms, n it feels really itchy~

As we continued walking down, we saw one pathetic ugly turkey, the pretty Yuan yang, a strange blue bird, some peacocks and a very BIG funny looking OLD bird..lol! Din manage to take a pic of that old bird becos my digital camera died on me suddenly!! Oops! sorry, its my memory card actually..there was a format error. Shucks! Used my hp camera in the end..and before the day ended, it also died on me~simply becos its battery was low.

We went on to feed the goats, 2 goats only, with some dried bread i think. The longest area we stayed was the pets hotel. My! there were so many puppies! they were so so so so cute! wish i can have one of them..i really hope i can have a dog after i get married and staying in my new house..cos my mum hates the smell of animals! :(

After the resort, we decided to visit darl's uncle orchid farm nearby. Stayed there for another hour, explored the flowers and fishes before we left for dinner.

We had ice cream first as we were too full for main courses. Chit chatted and played games till we finally decided to have our dinner @ Bukit Timah's Penang Kitchen. After that, home sweet home! =)

The trip was considerably successful, had lots of fun and laughter with my 2 darling gers and our precious. The animal resort was worth a visit as no entrance fee is required, u'll only spend on food-feeding which cost bout $2 for 3 packets. We spent more on our food actually.

Ayy..no time for other updates! Got to go out already~

Next up: Xuan's Bday + preparation for her present. And Wendy's Bday!

Results finally out!

Yesterday when michael sms us in the morning to remind us that results will be out after 2pm, i was really nervous..worried i might fail. was at work then and i couldn't access to the website from office cos i did not have my own coms so thought i'll endure till i get home, in the end wendy called and helped me to check from her office..

and these are my results:

Got High Distinctions for Biz stats and Distinctions for Prices and Market as expected. Was glad that i managed to pass my Law, guessed this is the average grade for most people? But i was very surprised that i actually scored a Distinction for my management accounts! As said earlier, that paper was really difficult..difficult until i didn't know what i was scribbling. i remembered scoring a DI for my 1st 10% test which is bout 7/10 and just a PA for the 2nd 20% test which is approximately 10 or 11/20 so i thought chances of scoring well for the final is very low, moreover that paper was god damn difficult!

am very very very satisfied with my results! couldnt resist myself from sharing the great news so i called darl darl immediately..he felt relieved i got through this semester knowing how worried i was last few days. my parents even cuter, they said wanna celebrate! -.-! Just a semester results..not as if i'm gonna wear my 'square' hat.

Work's ok so far..everyday stare computer until my eyes damn blur..do calculations and updating databases..brrr...the company's documentation handling so damn luan~so many mistakes and i'm there to correct for them..zzz...
As usual, working in Tuas will attract lotsa attentions..all the guys at warehouse were spreading news around that there's a new little ger working in the warehouse office..without even having to intro myself, they already knew my name ..=\ But they're really friendly people, they'll greet u and asked hw's ur day at work even if they dont know you..haha

last few days there were conflicts between some of the warehouse men, my supervisor held a meeting in the office where i was working so i could actually overhear the whole conversations. starting to feel that my supervisor has a very good leadership quality even though he just took over this department and its temporary cos the main supervisor has resigned..

the way he manages work and his staffs, making sure everyones' working as a team and not individually, and that they're also enjoying work at the same time. i really think he's good ah..hope i can learn more from him before i go..

breakfast prepared by a colleague (uncle) who loves to cook? he'll prepare for most of the ladies i guess. Actually its very nice neh! haha..

First day of work!

thats definitely gonna be the first thing i'll mention in my post. well, not really a great start in the morning,i cant say its bad too cos the thought of it is quite cork! Apparently i was asked to wait at boon lay bus stop by my agent, ie. Huifen. that company provides transportation from boon lay interchange. There were 2 bus stops at boon lay interchange and the overly confident me thought i knew the exact bus stop, so the gugu me waited at the "bus stop" at 8.20am. i was supposed to call this lady when i reached, i thought she'll be there but funny, she said she'll call me when the bus reaches boon lay..so i continued waiting really like a gugu..

At 8.30am she called n told me the bus has reached but i din see any bus! she told me i have to cross over to the opposite bus stop..the thing is...i dont see any bus stopping at the opposite side! Then as i turned 180 degrees facing the other end of the interchange, i realised......there's a big long bus stop there.. -.-! i asked her to wait for me while i walk there as fast as i could. when i board the bus, (TMD! ning lao shi! chicken mcnugget, bullshitty asshole!) the bus uncle damn f*cking fierce lo..he shouted at me! i apologised to him as well as that lady. She never blame me and still treat as though nothing happened. 10mins later,the uncles's still scolding and nagging..den i realised he's getting abit too far away...super no link..he said things like "singaporeans love to complain the most!", "....deduct my pay!", "fetch students, wait awhile only their parents complain!", and most importantly "i wait for u all can la! you all wait for me awhile cannot la?!". So..he continued the same thing all the way till we reach office. After that they told me, that uncle's temper quite bad, asked me not to take it to heart. hur? i thought i should apologise for causing all this shit on my first day neh!

The whole day went quite well, i was quite busy assisting another lady. basically what i do are more like admin tasks - faxing, documentation, filing etc. But damn! its a whole damn lots lo!! i din even have the time to rest..one after the other kept coming in..

I must admit i didn't really like the job, actually i hate the environment even more! i'm working in a warehouse man! its deep inside the warehouse where there's a small office for me to work. And worse, there're uncles everywhere!! but they're nice uncles ah..they still greet and smile at me. hurhur. other than that, my supervisor is a nice guy too, so far i haven seen him shout though i could see how busy and stressed he was. and the china lady i am assisting is also very friendly. At least she changed my impression PRC slightly to the better...slightly... :X

Oh..there's one thing i really like to comment on that company. They have their own canteen (wow! that's good), but there's only one stall and its halal! =.=! ding dong diaoZ* i tell you..i went in, i was like..am i gonna suffer like that for the one whole month (yea ger! face it!). Imagine the others been working there for years..they told me they were really sick of the food that they rather eat bread for lunch. Ayyz..now i'm hoping for time to pass by quickly so i get my pay asap and leave the place!

Thats all i can share with on my part time job.

Now, i shall announce a great news. That is, my darling Kamilah is now officially Shafik Admad's wife!! Congrats darling!! *muack* am so so so so so happy for you! Darl and I attended her wedding on Saturday at Bukit Batok CC. Met up with my T01 poly mates, the sua ku us stood outside like nerds, we didn't dare to go in until Wanie reached. But still, we plucked up our courage to go up the stage to meet the newly weds and took pictures with them. Aww..she looked so gorgeous like a blissful little princess! and of cos, Shafik was very charming!

Compared to the chinese, their ceremony was very simple. Simple yet glamourous. The bride and the groom will sit on the stage for almost the whole ceremony for photo taking sessions with families and friends, that's why they're called "The prince and princess of the day".

All of us went to watch Shrek 3 after the wedding. I simply love the show! i love the story, the jokes, the graphics and all the characters esp Donkey! He's a crappy dude man! Another favourite character of mine was the cousin of Princess Fiona, Artie, he was the second person to be chosen as a king. The reason i like him is cos he's got dimples! haha. can u imagine hw great their 3D graphics were? even this kind of tiny little things they'll never leave out. Great movie!

Pirates of the Carribean was good too. Jack Sparrow's still as comical, his actions never fail to disapoint us.

hopefully there'll be more great movies coming up! :)

Time passes faster after working..i actually took 3 days to post this entry simply cos i was too tired. Its not totally becos of work..but becos.....i'm a pig! (hehe..i admit la...)

come to think of it, my exam results coming out soon. the thought of it scares me..i'm so worried for my commercial law and management accounting. All i ask for is only a pass for both modules. If i can get thru this semester i'm satisfied already..serious... *bobi bobi*
