Yesterday i went for an interview after a call from an agent.

Although it was only a 1-day assignment as a receptionist at tiong bahru, but i wanted to gain more experience in interviews. The HR was at The Forum so i went there for the interview. its interesting..the company was Club 21. I guess many will think i'm a frog-living-in-a-well, i actually never heard of this company before!! or maybe i've come across with this name but it just didn't stay in my mind for long (moreover i have very serious short-term memory.haha)

i waited for about 20mins and was browsing through their really big magazines. I realised the company's main focuses are more into fashion including ladies, mens, kids and even accessories. It was then i start to have an interest about this company, about the environment, the staffs, their products and their prospects.

Had a short interview with this lady, she asked me lots of questions related to marketing, customer services and my previous experiences especially in the retail line. she told me they keep databases of interviewees in case they have any other positions for me. Of course, i was delighted even though i knew so many others are fighting with me for the positions. She told me she's considering between me and another candidate who was interviewed before me, I was rather confident in getting e 1-day assignment but they didn't call and i also had given up the idea.

Then this morning at 8am, i recieved a missed call from town area. I guessed it might be them but i didn't answer cos i was too tired and the assignment was today.

Well, after all its only a day's assignment, its ok i didn't get it but still, i was very keen on the company, that lady told me they have 500 over staffs, most of them are their retail staffs and the rest about 100 of them are working in their offices. That was when i wished..i can be one of them in the future! hahaha..

Somehow i know this will be one of the companies i gonna look up for after my graduation. I had the feeling there'll be lots of involvement relating to marketing, there'll be lots to learn as well and additionally, the working environment left a very good impression on me. Ya..that'll be 1 1/2 years later that i can start thinking about this..

I think the designs of their website is damn cool with the use of flash and pictures which portraits a good brand equity with their high-end product. Darl, you can have a look and get more ideas for your projects too! =)

Anyway tomorrow, i have another interview. Alas, my agent told me i was shortlisted for an interview tomorrow, it'll be at pandan loop, checked out in the street directory, looks wulu to me..but nvm~juz give it a shot! Like i said, i wanted to gain more experiences from interviews. *cross my fingers* please! Let me pass the interview!

Will be going down Wisma again to collect my brother's phone. After that, darl's gonna bring me to Canele's newly open branch at Paragon. I'm so excited! We wont have to go clarke quay to enjoy their cakes becos Paragon is an easier place for us to get to. We planned to buy some cakes back home for my brother for his belated birthday which was yesterday. Hope he'll like them!
