5tH aUgUsT - mOi biG dAy!!!

will be celebrating my advance 21st birthday on the 5th Aug 06. the actual day of my birthday is 7th August (2 days before national day!)

it'll be held at Chevrons Chalet @ 6.30pm. My room is MERANTI. those who're reading my blog..u're invited! but please let me know if you're coming cos i need to do head counts.

not sure if i shld feel honoured to be born on a day near SG National Day..becos of this National day..some of my guys friends were involved in the NDP rehearsal..many had to miss my celebration on the 5th. Some had to do volunteering work :( not sure if this has got to do with National day...

even 3 of my aunties who work in the same company have company dinner on that day!!!

swayest to the max..............

hope its not too disappointing..cos each and every of my friends being invited are very important to me.so hope everyone will try their best to turn up..

although till now still nth much done..but bibi's gonna help me with the plannings..the food and drinks, etc. gonna stress him like mad~pray that everything turns out smoothly..

dont know how to describe my feelings now...aint very excited about it..not sure why...hmmm.........

went prawn fishing last night at a Chonglin-claimed-the-name-too-long place..haha..i really dont know the name of the place la! but its opposite Jurong Bird Park. i asked chonglin..he said the name of the "restaurant" was too long so he forgot. -.-!

was at bibi's house in the evening..after that he fetched me to meet Chonglin, Xuan, Pauline, Vincent n Zhenyang. we met up bout 10pm at jp and Pauline drove us there while Chen chang met us there.

at the start..it was rather........boring..there were 3 dark ponds..totally cannot see what's swimming inside. then we started fishing....

we used pen knifes to cut the smelly cockles, hook it up and threw into the pond..

n we waited.........

n waited.......

1 hour later............

we caught nothing.......

and we looked at the people around us..for the past 1 hour they already caught like dozens of prawns!!! n us???

NONE! sOB*

finally chonglin managed to catch one..with the use of net =.=!!

another hour pass by..........

we were falling aslp already.........

then......zhenyang and i found another hook, we were wondering what's the difference between our current safety-pin-looked-alike hook and this newly found hook..so we decided to change the hook..

n once again...we threw the bait in and waited....

within 5mins i felt something's pulling my fishing rod!!! i got so excited n i juz swing the damn rod high and the medium size prawn flew across vincent's head! i'm sorry vincent, i bet u got a shock! lol

we were shouting like mad! cos after 2hours..this was the first prawn we caught while others have already caught like...20-30 prawns?? haha..

then...we tried again...n for the next 30mins..i caught 2 prawns! and each time the size is bigger than the previous one..haha..

the funniest incident was..once i thought i caught a prawn cos i felt smthg pulling my rod. i slowly lift up and saw something white hanging there..i was like "What the hell was that?"...
=.=! its an empty cockle shell..........thanks lor~dunno which stupid prawn hooked the shell on after eating the cockles..so embarassing~

we stayed there till 2.30am, Chen chang fetched vincent and xuan home first then we went blk651 for supper. after that head home~

so for the whole 3hours or more...we onli caught 4 prawns - 1 by chonglin and 3 by me! wahahha..hohoho...and and and....one cockle shell =
we gave the prawns to others cos we juz wanna have the fun of fishing but no intention to kill and eat it!

actually its nice to go for prawn fishing at times..very relaxing but can be boring too~hope to go there and catch those disgusting prawns again!

ahaha~i know all of you are still waiting for my thailand pics..i know i'm slow la..sorry sorry wor! cos i'm finding ways to upload..simply too many pics to upload and stupid blogspot is damn slow when uploading pics lor..

so told my dear that i might set up another blog juz for thailand trip so he can post too! woohoo~he's blogging! finally..lol..but i guess that'll take another years again! ok la..promise to update asap!

but now..gonna juz update my recent happenings ba~

went to NTU Bash at Club Momo with mydear, raine and ronson last thursday. my first time there..and finally i'm there! kinda excited..saw Gerry on that day! hoho..at least saw someone i know working at momo..

the 'gold' toilet bowls in momo..damn cute rite?

the music was ok..R&B - my fav! but i didn't like the way they remix the songs..or they didn't? maybe after going to the pubs in thailand i juz look down on the clubs in sg! the songs in thailand's pub or club realli rox lor!

anyway that afternoon i went to do my hair! juz trim a little and hightlighted 2 colors..red and copper..hmm..am satisfied with it cos its not very obvious! heh..juz wanted a natural look ba..i think everyone will think i'm crazy..wasting money on my hair when there's not much obvious changes at all..

got only 1 week to slack at home before going back to school..so gonna make full use of it to enjoy all i can!

i'm back from Thailand!! took morning flight on tuesday..reached singapore bout 3pm le~

had a wonderful time there..din want to come back sia..

Had lotsa fun! did lotsa shopping!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*!!

just finished making pudding..now waiting for it to cool down before putting it to the fridge..

wanted to blog last friday..my last day of work in Mectron but didn't have the time..cos got too many things not finished!

that day just felt strange..i'm neither happy nor sad..everything i do made me feel that..after that day i dont need to do this anymore.. i wont need to wake up early in the morning looking grumpy..and take bus 254 to Tuas and walk up the 2 flights of staircase up to office..n pick up fones saying "good morning/afternoon Mectron!" over and over again~

i wont miss waking up early and go for work..but i'll definitely miss the colleagues there..all of them have been taking vy good care of me..maybe also cos i'm the youngest in the office..

that day..GM n some of them treated me eat 'zi char' again during lunch! thank you so much!

and the funny thing is..been working in Mectron for 1 year and i've nv been to workshop before! so masha brought me deep in to see the testplate..how the pumps were tested and where they do the paintings for the pumps..it was so interesting~

we all went to Edwin and my farewell bbq after work..it was held at hillington green condo..our boss's condo..i followed Richard's car to go and fetch his 'darling' and my ahDear as well.

at the bbq..we had lots of fun..Eugene suggested some games and we played along..we were grouped into 2 teams..the guys and the ladies team..the ladies lost! got to forfeit lor..haiz..all did a vy fast cat walk in front of everybody..strangers from other pits were looking at us man~ very sia sway..

they all contributed to buy a gift for me..got a really nice adidas duffel bag! can use it during my thailand trip le~there was a card with alot of wishes from everyone..i was so touched..nearly cried la..but never! haha..

really had a memorable last day in Mectron..thanx people..i'm so lucky to have a chance working with this bunch of fun people..

hmm..referring to my previous entry on the probs with MEN..i apologise to all my guy-friends for that entry oh..cos i actually typed it in a fit of anger..

i was so pissed that time with him cos it always ended as if i was in the wrong..or as if he was never wrong at all..it feels so unfair..

but when i really calm down n think..maybe it isn't that case..its how i wanna put it..maybe all the blame's not in me..but i kept thinking so..

made myself so angry..for what right? waste my energy!
anyway i juz wanted to vent my anger so i typed out without much consideration that i'll hurt so many others reading my blog..
